STUDENT SERVICES ACADEMIC COACH:

Each student is paired with an Academic Coach who serves as their guide and support system throughout their academic journey and career preparation. The coach will serve as the main point of contact for the student, overseeing their academic progress, addressing any issues related to Empowering Excellence Charter School, collaborating with other departments, providing guidance on career track options, and assisting them in navigating the Career Portfolio Course. Both the student and the coach are required to respond to any inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe.

Academic Support:

Career Seminars & Webinars

Students in need of additional assistance with their coursework can seek support from their Academic Coach. The Academic Coach will connect the student with a qualified Academic Support Instructor who specializes in the particular subject area where the student is struggling. Any questions or requests from students will be addressed promptly within a two-day timeframe. Please note that online instruction from Edmentum teachers may require slightly longer response times.

Online seminars and webinars are provided by Empowering Excellence Charter School to assist students in preparing for success in their careers. These workshops concentrate on the pragmatic measures that students can take to accomplish their career objectives in the actual world. The student portal will have information on upcoming events, and the calendar of events will have detailed upcoming career planning webinars and seminars (as described below).

Empowering Excellence Charter School offers biweekly virtual workshops that center around developing essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, creativity, and innovation. These workshops are designed to equip students with the necessary tools to thrive in today's competitive global economy that values innovation. In addition, the school provides monthly Career Webinars that offer students a comprehensive exploration of various career paths and valuable information on career planning and job search strategies to help them navigate their professional journeys effectively.
